Multiple bilateral metastatic lung nodules are present. Interventricular septal mass with involvement of adjacent left ventricular apex also likely represents a metastasis.

Case Discussion

Like many cancers, melanoma frequently metastasises to lung, but it also spreads haematogenously to subcutaneous tissues, to the bronchi causing atelectasis, and to the myocardium far more often than other malignancies.
