Massive distension of the large bowel is seen. 

Modality: CT

Findings on plain films confirmed, with massive large bowel distension, with no transition point. No evidence of pneumoperitoneum. Collapsed small bowel loops. 

Modality: Barium

Dilated large bowel, no transition point. No radiologic evidence of Hirschsprung's disease. 

Case Discussion

19-year-old male with abdominal detention.

Negative for Hirschsprung's disease.
