Focal area of fat stranding is present inferior to the hepatic flexure of the colon and right liver lobe.
Case Discussion
Features are compatible with omental infarction that is a rare cause of acute abdomen resulting from vascular compromise of the greater omentum. The classic location of primary omental infarction is in the right lower quadrant medial to the ascending colon or cecum.
