Presentation
Acute polyarthralgia, with a known history of prostate carcinoma, gout, hypertension and diabetes.
Patient Data

Diffusely sclerotic thoracic skeleton. Dorsolumbar degenerative changes.
Hyperinflated but clear lung fields. Normal CTR.

Patchy sclerotic knees bilaterally.
Minimal medial joint space narrowing, however no other significant degenerative features and no features to suggest gout.

Patchy sclerotic ankles and visualized feet. The ankles are otherwise normal with no features to suggest gout.
Case Discussion
Patchy sclerotic bone changes involving the thoracic skeleton, bilateral knees and bilateral ankles and feet consistent with diffuse osteoblastic or sclerotic metastases in a patient with known prostatic carcinoma. There were no features of gout on plain films.
