Penile fracture

Presentation

Trauma to erect penis three hours earlier. Ultrasound to locate fracture site.

Patient Data

Age: 40 - 45 yrs
Gender: Male
Modality: Ultrasound

 

Tunica ablugenia defect is seen in RIGHT corpus cavernosum in mid shaft of penis.

Defect size is about 6 mm.

Defect is on ventral aspect.

Local haemtoma is noted between right cavernosum and spongiosum.

Size about 7 x 6 mm

Proximal and distal shaft of penis shows normal corpus cavernosum and spongenosum, without defect

Case Discussion

Operated on same day.

USG findings confirmed.
