Polka dot sign and corduroy sign-vertebral hemangioma

White dots in the black background which is seen on axial image of a lumbar vertebra consistent with polka-dot sign. There are also vertically-oriented, thickened trabeculae on sagittal image at the same vertebra compatible with corduroy sign.
Case Discussion
Polka dot sign and also corduroy sign are seen due to replacement of the normal cancellous bone by thickened vertical trabeculae surrounded by fat marrow or vascular lacunae in intraosseous hemangiomas.
