Rotated image of an antenatal ultrasound of the foetal pelvis demonstrating the keyhole sign, created by the distended bladder and posterior urethra. Prominent pelvicalyceal system of both kidneys.
Case Discussion
Ultrasound demonstrates a markedly distended bladder and prostatic urethra (keyhole sign) with a degree of prominence of the renal collecting systems.
Features are consistent with posterior urethral valves.
