Primary CNS lymphoma

75-year-old male unsteady gait for three weeks.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

CT demonstrates a periventricular hyperdense lesion.


MRI confirms the the presence of a periventricular enhancing lesion which demonstrates restricted diffusion and enhancement.



Small round blue cells with strong positive immunostain for CD20 (B cell marker), consistent with Non-Hodgkin large B cell lymphoma.

Case Discussion

Features consistent with lymphoma which confirmed on pathology.
