Proximal focal femoral deficiency

Shortening of right lower limb since birth. Presents to control fracture healing.

Patient Data

Age: 7
Gender: Female

NECT scan of pelvic bones shows hypoplasia of right femoral bone with mild hypoplastic  femoral head and  mild hypoplastic right acetabular fossa. Femoral neck is critical shortened and presented as multiple bone fragments. Because of upwared displacement of femoral shaft and instability of  hip joint it was performed osteosinthesis. 

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates right proximal focal femoral deficiency.
