Pulmonary haemorrhage

Case contributed by Dr Abdallah Khateeb

ESRD. Hemoptysis.

Patient Data

Age: 61 years
Gender: Female

Bilateral interstitial markings mainly at the peri-hilar regions.

Bilateral peri-hilar interstitial thickening with a background of ground glass opacification.

Case Discussion

This case shows the so called crazy paving pattern, which is rather a non-specific finding. However, adding a history of acute hemoptysis, pulmonary hemorrhage is the most likely diagnosis.
