Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Minimally displaced marginal radial head fracture. In keeping with a Mason type I fracture.

Case Discussion

Radial head fractures are the most common fractures of the elbow.

Undisplaced or minimally displaced radial head fractures are oftentimes isolated injuries.

These fractures are usually the result of low-energy trauma such as a fall onto the outstretched hand.

The Mason classification assists in the decision of adequate management.
