Right kidney appears normal in size, shape and in position.
There are two well-formed kidneys seen on the left side which are fused in the lower pole, not crossing the midline, however; their renal pelvis faces superolaterally. The upper kidney is smaller, but it's shape and cortex appear normal.
Current CT images show round ring artifact from the defective detector.
Case Discussion
Supernumerary kidney is a rare congenital anomaly and usually found on the left side of the abdomen.
