Within the proximal tibial shaft there is a chondroid lesion present. There is no evidence of endosteal scalloping and no break in the cortex and there are no x-ray features to suggest sarcomatous degeneration of this lesion.

A 6.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm irregular calcified lesion in the proximal right tibial metaphysis has no associated soft tissue mass, bone destruction or endosteal scalloping.
Case Discussion
The patient proceeded to total knee replacement and biopsy taken at the time confirmed this lesion as an enchondroma.
