Left-sided vagal nerve stimulator (VNS) and its leads are seen in appropriate position of electrodes in the left side of the neck. The lungs are clear.

Case Discussion

Vagal nerve stimulators are implantable devices used in patients with intractable epilepsy. They are considered to be adjunctive therapies in the treatment of refractory seizure disorders and have been successful in both adult and pediatric patients.
