Presentation
Recurrent urinary tract infection for evaluation
Patient Data

Under strict aseptic precautions, the urinary bladder was catheterized, contrast administered and spot films taken under fluoroscopy.
Filling phase revealed passive reflux into both ureters.
Voiding phase showed reflux extending proximally up to both pelvicalyceal systems with right ureter appearing dilated and tortuous.
Urinary bladder appears trabeculated.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates bilateral vesicoureteric reflux - right grade III and left grade II, with bladder trabeculation.
Serial voiding cystourethrogram is the standard procedure for evaluating and prognosticating urinary tract infections.
