X-linked deafness

16 year old male presenting with bilateral mixed hearing loss.

Case Discussion

CT and MRI show the typical findings of X-linked deafness, with bilateral bilateral absence of the bony partition between the fundus and the basal turn of the cochleas. On the left side there is an abnormaly enlarged vestibular aqueduct.
