Lincoln is a radiologist with subspecialty interests in cardiothoracic, musculoskeletal, and forensic imaging.

His academic positions include being a clinical senior lecturer, research supervisor, and collaborator at the University of Melbourne. He sits on the Editorial board of AMSJ, DIP and Radiopaedia and is a reviewer for JMIRO and EJSO. He has co-authored 2 Ph.D. theses in Artificial Intelligence and has multiple publications in various peer reviewed international journals including RSNA's Radiology Journal.

He is an active volunteer with Radiology Across Borders TIDES and mentorship projects to help deliver quality healthcare and train clinicians in areas of need.
