Presentation
Screening mammography.
Patient Data

A small mass with irregular and spiculated margin and few fine internal calcifications is noted in the upper central portion of the left breast, which causes surrounding parenchymal distortion.
Case Discussion
Small spiculated mass with fine internal calcification and surrounding parenchymal distortion in screening mammography of a 65 years old patient; a new finding compared to prior mammography about two years ago; compatible with BIRADS 5 lesion and highly suggestive of malignancy.
The patient underwent an ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy, and a histopathology evaluation confirmed invasive ductal carcinoma.
