Info

A 78×50 mm thick-walled air-filled cavitary lesion with dependent internal membranous contents is present at the right lower lobe that communicates with a bronchus.
Additionally, a few nodular opacities less than 12 mm, and some atelectatic bands are scattered at both lung fields.
Case Discussion
Features on CT images are compatible with a complicated pulmonary hydatid cyst; the patient had peripheral eosinophilia and positive IgG echinococcal antibody.
