Abdominal pain, distension, and failure of passage of stool.
Patient Data

There is a left-sided femoral hernia with the incarceration of the sigmoid colon causing large bowel obstruction upstream. The sigmoid bowel loop that is within a hernia doesn't see ischemic changes. Presence of minimal fluid in the hernial sac. Small bowel not dilated. Varicose the superficial veins of the upper part of the thigh on the left. Pelvic organ prolapse without complication.

The annotated image demonstrates the inguinal canal, femoral canal, and common femoral vein anatomical ratio.
Case Discussion
The patient was operated on, the femoral hernia was repaired. The sigmoid bowel was not ischemic.
