Case Discussion
This case demonstrates the typical x-ray appearance of an ASIS avulsion fracture. The ASIS is the site of attachment for sartorius and tensor fascia lata muscles and is most commonly avulsed in adolescent athletes.
See this case for MRI features of the same injury.
