Case Discussion
Esthesioneuroblastoma or olfactory neuroblastoma is a tumor arising from neural crest cells in superior nasal cavity. It has bimodal age distribution in second and sixth decade. Detecting invasion of neuroparenhcyma is important as it decides surgical approach.
This case was biopsy proven. Histopathology reveals multiple flexer wintersteiner rosettes, higher number of rosettes suggest a more well differentiated tumor.
