2.5 cm pseudoaneurysm arising from the right common femoral artery. There is an association with a large extraperitoneal hematoma displacing the urinary bladder to the left.

Incidentally, there is a large right ovarian cyst. Hyperdense material in the gallbladder indicates vicarious excretion of contrast (from the previous coronary angioplasty procedure).

Case Discussion

This patient developed a pseudoaneursym at the right common femoral artery puncture site. The puncture site is suprainguinal, and perhaps post-procedure compression was suboptimal, contributing to this complication.
