AC joint space and CC distances are widened. The distal clavicle is displaced superiorly compared to the acromion. Overlying soft tissue swelling. No fracture. Glenohumeral joint is normal.
CONCLUSION
Rockwood type 2 acromioclavicular joint injury.
Case Discussion
Classification of AC joint injuries can be a useful guide for treatment as certain types will often require operative management while others are typically managed non-operatively.
