Bony excrescences arising from the buccal mandibular surface especially on the left with an air-filled ulcer in the oral cavity involving overlying mucosa.
Case Discussion
Torus mandibularius is a bilateral bony growth from the buccal mandible anteriorly near the premolars above the mylohyoid muscle. Etiology is unclear and they are usually asymptomatic (apart form a hard lump). Occasionally they can cause ulceration to the overlying mucosa as in this case.
Differential diagnosis: multiple buccal exostosis 1
