Bronchogenic cyst

Presentation

Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Chest radiograph

x-ray

A large well-defined right lower paratracheal mass is identified measuring approximately 8.6cm superoinferiorly. It displaces the distal trachea slightly to the left. No tracheal compression is seen.

The lungs and pleural spaces are clear.

The heart size is normal.

Conclusion: Correlation with cross-sectional imaging is recommended to evaluate the density of the lesion.
