Info

Large right extra-axial frontal lobe mass extending to the sphenoid wing, with avid enhancement.   Vessels radiate towards a center point in a spoke-wheel fashion.

Marked mass effect with ventricular effacement and displacement, with buckling of the white matter.

Case Discussion

This was a pre-operative scan of a subsequently operated and biopsy proven meningioma.

Nice example of the spoke wheel appearance and white matter buckling signs in a case of a large meningioma.
