Moderate amount of diffuse bilateral subpleural reticular change in both lungs.
The changes are most pronounced in the basal segments. Minor resultant traction bronchiectasis.
No honeycomb formation.
Case Discussion
The HRCT demonstrates the typical appearances of a moderate degree of pulmonary fibrosis.
This commonly has a subpleural prelidiction. The causes can be multiple or as if most commonly the case idiopathic (UIP).
