The appendix shows circumferential mural thickening and hyperenhancement with diameter reaching 10 mm. No associated collections. A couple of ileocolic lymph nodes are present.
Case Discussion
This is a typical case of uncomplicated acute appendicitis with transmural inflammation of the appendix from tip to base without any periappendiceal collections or signs of perforation.
