An area of diffusion restriction is seen involving the left crus cerebri, with corresponding bright signal on T2 and FLAIR sequences, suggesting subacute infarction.
Case Discussion
Weber syndrome is one of the brainstem infarction syndromes characterized by affection of the cerebral peduncle (contralateral motor and sensory loss) and ipsilateral oculomotor nerve fascicles (ispilateral ptosis and mydriasis).
