From the case:
Arachnoid cyst distorting the third ventricle

Info

The MR appearance suggests a suprasellar arachnoid cyst displacing the chiasm and infundibulum anteriorly.
Case Discussion
Hydrocephalus was secondary to an obstructive third ventricle cyst. VP shunt tube in situ.
The MR appearance suggests a suprasellar arachnoid cyst displacing the chiasm and infundibulum anteriorly however on endoscopy the arachnoid cyst was (apparently) actually intraventricular in location, within the third ventricle.
