Single slice from CTPA confirming left apical pneumothorax.
Case Discussion
This young lad presented with pleuritic chest pain and a CTPA was requested.
There was no evidence of PTE, but it did reveal a small left apical pneumothorax.
The CXR performed the day before was visible in retrospect highlighting the importance of checking review areas and also reminding us that errors happen and we need to use them to learn lessons.
