Presentation
Hit by a motorcyclist.
Patient Data

Fracture is seen involving the left humeral capitellum (best seen on AP view). Note the elevated posterior fat pad. The radial head appears unremarkable. Note the fracture passes lateral to the trochlear groove representing Milch type 1 fracture.
Case Discussion
The Milch and Weiss classifications are used for the lateral humeral condyle fractures. Milch classification divides the lateral humeral condyle fractures into two groups depending on their relationship with the trochlear groove; whereas, the Weiss classification is based on the degree of displacement of the fracture fragment. It is measured on an internal oblique view of the elbow.
