Early closure and overlapping of all cranial sutures is noted with resultant extreme change in the shape of the skull the so called (cloverleaf deformity).
Dilatation of temporal horns of lateral ventricles is noted.
Case Discussion
Cloverleaf deformity results from severe alteration in development of the skull, with premature synostosis of some cranial sutures. It can also be associated with hydrocephalus. It can be syndromic or nonsyndromic.
