7 days fever, severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. C.Difficile negative. Tender RIF. Evidence toxic dilation/colitic bowel wall thickening?

Extensive thumbprinting of the distal transverse colon, in keeping with mucosal edema. No bowel obstruction.

Thumbprinting from mucosal edema from colitis, which was subsequently confirmed on further investigation.
