Increased wall thickness is noted at gastric antrum accompanied by perigastric fat stranding and a few perigastric lymphadenopathies. The fat plane between thickened gastric segment and pancreas head is obliterated but there is no sign of pancreatic parenchymal infiltration.
Case Discussion
Pathology proven gastric adenocarcinoma.
CT is currently the staging modality of choice because it can help identify the primary tumor, assess for the local spread, and detect nodal involvement and distant metastases.
