Case contributed by Dr Henry Knipe

Ex 35/40. CPAP.

Patient Data

Age: 0 days
Gender: Male

Moderate perihilar streaky interstitial opacity, as well as a small volume of horizontal fissure fluid are seen, appearances suggest possible infection or aspiration.

Absent right forearm.

Note absent humeral epiphysis in keeping with preterm delivery.

Case Discussion

The abnormal right forearm was seen antenatally and is thought most likely to be from amniotic band syndrome

This case also represents satisfaction of search as well, the peripheries of the image should always be interpreted.
