Catheter angiogram with 5F pigtail catheter reveals severe coarctation in the post ductal segment of descending thoracic aorta.
Collaterals in the chest wall are noted from subclavian territory.

Coarctation of the aorta refers to a narrowing of the aortic lumen. It can be primarily divided into two types:
- infantile (pre-ductal) form
- adult (juxta-ductal, post-ductal or middle aortic) form
