Presentation

Swelling of the scalp.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
mri

Marked thickening of the scalp mainly at the frontoparietal regions with ridges and furrows involving the dermis and subcutis with anterior to posterior in direction, resembling the surface of the cerebral cortex.

Mild cerebral volume loss is noted.
