A normal echopattern of the flexor carpi radialis tendon without tear/ tendinosis. Hypoechoic thickening surrounding the distal tendon along with hypervascularity. No breach of the adjacent scaphoid cortex. No effusion involving scaphoid-trapezium or 1st carpometacarpal joints. Patent radial artery and accompanying veins.
Case Discussion
Findings suggest tenosynovitis of the flexor carpi radialis tendon with a normal tendon.
