Chest radiograph demonstrates an abnormal gastric bubble pattern, which appears abnormally slit-like and elongated.

Diffuse and circumferential gastric wall thickening.

PET/CT

Nuclear medicine

Avid uptake of the radiopharmaceutical (FDG) throughout the thickened wall of the stomach. 

Case Discussion

The diffuse and circumferential gastric wall thickening is referred to as linitis plastica, yet in this case the underlying pathology was gastric lymphoma.
