Presentation

Leiomyosarcoma. Increasing shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

PortaCath.   Left shoulder replacement.

Multiple pulmonary nodules in both lungs.   Small left sided pleural effusion.

Mild cardiomegaly.

Case Discussion

Progressive metastatic disease in the thorax in the form of lung metastases and malignant pleural effusion.

Leiomyosarcoma is a rare, but aggressive, tumor of the smooth muscle.
