Accumulation of FDG PET at multiple subcutaneous sites along the left leg (on the side of previous melanoma primary). These are consistent with subcutaneous metastases.
Case Discussion
Melanoma is usually intensely FDG avid, so PET is very useful for the detection of metastatic lesions in lymph nodes or other sites.
