Presentation

Cough, low-grade fever, night sweats, weight loss and haemoptysis.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
X-ray

Interstitial granular densities distributed throughout the lungs, with relative basal and apical sparing. No pleural effusions. No loss of volume.

Miliary tuberculosis is the commonest cause of miliary nodules on chest radiographs.
