Abdominal distension.

Age: 2 years
Gender: Male

Both kidneys are markedly enlarged with renal cortical tissue almost completely replaced and diffusely expanded by lower density soft tissue. 

Case Discussion

Nephroblastomatosis is the diffuse or multifocal involvement of the kidneys with nephrogenic rests (persistent metanephric blastema). This patient was treated with chemotherapy with good results.
