Presentation
Ongoing esophageal leak into the right pleural space post omental fat repair following traumatic esophageal perforation.
Patient Data

Right pigtail catheter projected over the right costophrenic angle. Two surgical drains are noted over the chest ? mediastinal and pleural. Tip of a central venous line is projected at the SVC/RA junction.
Following oral contrast administration, a right-sided distal esophageal leak is demonstrated with extravasated contrast extending laterally into the right pleural space. Some contrast progresses normally to the left into the stomach.
Case Discussion
The patient was treated with esophageal stenting.
