Presentation

Shortness of breath. PHx: stroke.

Patient Data

Age: 25
Gender: Female

Lungs and pleural spaces are clear. Cardiomediastinal contour unremarkable for projection. PFO closure device projects at the level of T8/9 IV disc.

There are numerous types of percutaneous PFO closure devices. Most of devices are two discs joined by a central neck.
