Case Discussion

Polydactyly refers to the duplication of the digits of the hands and/or feet.

In the present case, there is preaxial and central duplication in the hands and feet, with six digits in the hands (hexadactyly) and seven in the feet (heptadactyly).

Triphalangism of the thumb is usually considered to be a form of polydactyly.
