Right lower lobe collapse with volume loss of the right hemithorax and inferiorly displaced fissures and hilum. Effacement of the diaphragmatic silhouette is due to the opaque posterobasal right lower lobe.
Case Discussion
Subsequent FDG PET-CT confirmed right lower lobe collapse and bronchoscopic biopsy diagnosed squamous cell carcinoma obstructing the right lower lobar bronchus.
