Takayasu arteritis

diffuse, circumferential, symmetric thickening of the aortic wall involving the entire visualized aorta (ascending, arch, descending thoracic and abdominal)
thickening and narrowing of all the major scanned aortic branches
complete occlusion of the left common carotid artery with trace central opacification distally
marked narrowing of the celiac trunk with post-stenotic dilation
dilated, mildly thickened pulmonary trunk, left and right pulmonary arteries
Case Discussion
The findings of a diffuse circumferential large vessel thickening in a young adult are consistent with Takayasu arteritis.
